A few months ago, we were invited into the Institute of Molecular Bioscience where we visited the lab making discoveries into understanding Endometriosis, and improving the quality of life for women with the disease.
The lab takes on research for each variable patient, including growing a microscopic organoid (a replica of each patient’s uterus) and running tests which consider each cases reaction to medications. This practice is helping many patients with limiting the time and suffering for each case.
With Fashion Queensland and Billy Blue College of Art we took inspiration from our lab visit to create a bespoke garment to showcase.
