We believe in conscious consumerism and produce limited runs and pre-ordered pieces, so as to not over-produce.
We use minimal packaging, and only use recyclable and bio-degradable materials.
We focus on using natural fibres and are committed to using as little synthetic fabrics as possible.
WHAT WE ARE STRIVING FOR
We currently carry out all of our Pattern-making and Prototyping in-house, and have partnered with a Sedex accredited factory in China and Indonesia to produce our pieces.
We strive to support the Australian textile industry, and our goal is to produce as much as we can in Australia. Working close to our product is something that we hold close to our hearts, and support artisanal crafts on home soil.
SOMMERFELD is two sisters who have come together in 2025 with a shared love of quality fabrics and timeless pieces. The duality between them comes together to express virtú and their strength in femininity.
A careful discernment between sustainability, luxury and pragmatism, enables the brand to hold conscious consumerism at front of mind whilst delivering pieces that are set away from the conventional standards of womenswear.
